Chiltern Cats Protection (Aylesbury)

We rescue and rehome cats and kittens in our area, which may have come in for various reasons - sometimes people move and leave their cat, sometimes their owner dies, sometimes they are found wandering or injured, and sometimes they are handed in when people just can't cope anymore.

* We help with feral colonies, and our dedicated team of volunteers do their best to trap, neuter, and relocate (where possible) these feral cats. * We also help with assisted neutering for people on low income or pensions * We care for long-term ill and elderly cats - we're always looking for homes for these, but this is a difficult task, and in the meantime they need to be looked after and given their medication when necessary. * We also ensure all our cats are healthy and happy!

We have 3 fosterers and 7 pens. Hopefully that will increase this year if we can find some new fosterers. The charity's three key aims are:

* To help stray and unwanted cats and kittens, rehabilitating and rehoming them where possible * To encourage the neutering of all cats and kittens not required for breeding * To inform the public about the care of cats and kittens
