Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization – one of the largest non-profit pet rescue organizations in Washington state specializing in saving Death Row Dogs.
Our mission is to give homeless animals with no hope of the life they deserve through rescue, foster, and adoption.
We do not have a physical shelter location. We rely on a large network of fosters in the Seattle area, who provide our dogs with love and care during the transition from rescue to adoption. We are solely supportive of adoption fees and donations to help us provide for the 100+ dogs in our rescue at any given time. Over 90% of every dollar generated goes to the rescue of our animals.
