Thank you to everyone that has helped, offered suggestions. I guess she was never far away, but I kept looking for her out the doors. The only door to the outside she knew was the garage (she get in the car there to go to vet and groomer)! When my husband came home after dark, she ran right in when the garage door was opened. Even though she came home on her own, The help everyone gave me was amazing. I'd never lost a cat before. All the advise probably helped her to stay close to home.
