Very important information; once a dog has been lost 6-8 hours (in the woods or not) they go almost completely feral. Calling their name or running for them will worsen matters. They want food water and shelter so take advantage of that and track! Trap or bait yourself if strong bond. Also always report a sighting, it was a Good Samaritan driving on the highway that brought her home.
