Lost Dog in Martinsville, VA, 24112 Male, Last Seen: 01 April 2023

Cyrus is a 7 year old, neutered male, american pittbull terrier. Cyrus is normally a very friendly dog but Cyrus went missing when he and his brother got out of our fenced in yard. We believe Cyrus ran off, scared, when his brother was shot by someone in the neighborhood. Neighbors reported only hearing one gunshot so we have high hopes Cyrus is just lost trying to find his way back home. Cyrus is microchipped but lost his collar going under the fence. Cyrus was seen on trail following a couple as they walked. The couple informed us that Cyrus was very friendly, loved the attention/petting he received and appeared unharmed at the time. It has now been over a month and Cyrus is still out there somewhere. Our family is holding out hope for Cyrus' return home. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you think you may have seen him, even if you are hesitant because you're unsure, please reach out. We would rather follow every lead and get no where than to get no leads. Thank you all so much for you're help and continued prayers!
