About this Found Dog

I found a stray dog in my neighborhood who was bleeding and I took him in to give him food and water and called the animal shelter. They said they would euthanize him if I brought him in. He’s such a sweet dog and I don’t want to take him there. . He is potty trained, spayed, well mannered, and overall just a great dog. He had a collar on with no tag when I found him. I ended up taking him to an urgent care and he has no microchip. At the vet he was treated for worms, mites and fleas, as well as alopescia from the mites and a skin infection. I paid for all his services and am currently treating him with the medication they gave me. I don’t mind paying for his medical treatment I just want him to be able to find a good home. They said he will be fine when he completes the medicine they gave me and estimated his age as between 3-5 years old. He weighs 67 lbs. I can’t keep him because I have a senior dog who is currently very stressed and he’s being kept seperate from him now. I can’t keep him much longer my senior dog doesn’t get along with other dogs. I’ve tried to find the owner by posting on social media and someone did comment and say that they’ve tried to find his owners before and that his owners dumped him outside and don’t want him anymore. So I just need someone who is willing to take him even if it’s just until a rescue can take him in. I just can’t keep him or foster him and I don’t know what to do. He’s such a sweetheart and I do not want to take him to the shelter but I don’t know what else can be done if I don’t find him a home shortly. I can tell he just wants to be loved and to find a home with someone who can take care of him. If someone can take him even temporarily or knows anyone that wants him please message me.
