Found Dog in Vandalia, OH, 45377 Female, Last Seen: 23 May 2020

This is Daisy. We found her wandering the streets- her owners have abandoned her. Poor baby had a limp and was skin and bones when we found her!

We took her to the vet to check for a micro chip and have posted to all the lost dog websites with no response.2 weeks ago, local police returned her to her owner after she had wandered into a gas station. Now they are no longer claiming her .

The vet told us that she has heartworms, a heart murmur, and a torn ACL. Daisy will not be able to have surgery until after the 9 month heartworm treatment has ended. Sadly, I believe the owners have put her out for the past month because of these issues.

Daisy is super sweet. She thinks she's a lap dog! I'm a stay at home mom with two children, looking to get back to employment in June as my husband (a first responder) may be facing layoff.

Please, please share this. I would be more than happy to provide copies of the vet documents to anyone wanting to donate or share. Any contribution helps! The heartworm treatment alone is $1400. we just started treating her today.

We would like to adopt this puppy and make her a part of the family. ‍‍‍ Right now we are not in a financial position to bear the full burden of her vet bills without going into debt- not a place we want to be in during these trying times.
