SHIBA IS HOME! Someone near Fairhaven/Longridge saw her yesterday, and she stealthily ate a bowl of tuna. He let us set a trap at his porch where she had eaten, which succeeded when she came back for another meal after midnight last night. She was hungry, frazzled, and a wet mess, but settling back in. We received so much emotional support, as well as vigilant & helpful siting reports, from total strangers. It has gone a long way toward restoring my faith in humanity. Thank you all so much.
