About this Found Cat

Choo Choo Charlie needs a loving home and someone to love this big sweet boy We found poor Charlie, who is an orange and white male cat, about 5 years old, outside on our front stoop. We've been feeding him for over 6 months. Then, one day, we noticed that he had a giant abscess on his face, which was so large that his eye was shut and the abscess closed up his ear as well. Even though he was not our cat, we captured him, and brought him into our home, and kept him in a room, away from our other cats, and called our veterinarian for an emergency appointment, since it was quite obvious that the cat was in complete agony and was definitely going to die in agony very soon. Well, we got him the medical treatment he desperately needed, and we also got him neutered. He is a gentle giant, now weighing over 18 pounds. He is a genuine sweetheart. I have no idea who could have tossed such a nice cat out in the streets, but this sweet boy desperately needs a good home. I already have 4 other cats and a dog. All my animals have been rescues; however, now one more animal in the house is taxing my respiratory system badly. Is there anyone out there who can adopt this sweet and loving boy? I have already paid for any/all medical treatment. He is up to date on all vaccinations, and he just got neutered 12/17/2019. He is even micro-chipped. I will be bringing him back to the vet to be re-tested for FIV, since his last blood test showed that he was slightly positive for FIV. He is an absolutely wonderful cat. I do not know how he would be with other cats or dogs since I have kept him separated from all other animals. He wants to be an indoor kitty. He is terrified of being outside.
