Lost Dogs and Cats in Illinois - Reunited with Family!

What worked in our case is a combination of things. Firstly, it's nextdoor.com and spreading flyers throughout the neighborhood. That's how neighbors knew whom to call when they spotted Musya. Secondly, because we talked to both Naperville Police Animal Control and Naperville Humane Society, we were made aware of traps and that we can borrow one from either of them (we borrowed from both). Thirdly, we posted on nextdoor.com every day, asking people to keep looking out for our cat as she was still missing. Fourthly, the day the trap worked we sprayed towels with Feliway. But mostly we got lucky - there was no snow on the ground, it was sunny, so the cat came out from the hiding and we were able to find a good spot for the trap.
