About this Found Cat
Aloha,
At the Pearl Ridge Elementary parking lot are a few stray cats, but my concern is about a new one.
There is a new cat there, mostly black and with patches of white and white feet. It seems that someone dropped him up there recently since it is very different from the other cats. The stray ones beg for food but will run away if you try to touch them or get too close. This new one likes to be petted and will even tolerate strangers picking him up. He will not let strangers hold him for long but he will tolerate being picked up briefly. He follows people to their car. He probably doesn’t know how to find food like the other feral cats around him and most likely other cats will get any food before he does. It looks like he is losing some weight. I see him at the parking lot when I go daily to pick up my daughter.
Is there anything you can do about him? It is a very nice cat and I don’t want to see him killed.
Mahalo,
Jorge Castillo
