Carpet came home. I left the back door open because he had fallen off my back patio, and my house is setup in a way where I can leave the back door open and have another door closed, so it's like an enclosed back room. Kind strangers had advised me to do so and leave some food and he came home. When I went downstairs this morning preparing to call for him, at 5am, he was just sitting there, I couldn't believe it. He's an indoor only neutered male cat and it's true that they stay close to home.
