About this Lost Dog
Hello everyone, we are the Michael family. We just moved back from Springfield, MO after relocating for work in 2018. I, Leigha Michael previously lived here on Clearview Avenue with my husband Patrick. We had three dogs, Caesar (deceased-osteosarcoma) Neiko (black lab-pointer,) Huckleberry (young beagle) and our two cats Freya (Tux) and Luda (Tabby); all of which loved people, especially children. While living there I became pregnant to which Huckleberry was the first to know. Huckleberry had spent the beginning of his life with my husband learning how to track was a very healthy one year old. Shortly after my husband arrived with Huckleberry, we started having difficulty keeping the beagle in the yard although we took many precautions. We spent months prior to our move trying to keep him in the yard and getting to know neighbors to whom he would visit. We heard several different leads to which we attempted to pursue with no luck. Two months before I had our child, we had no longer to wait and had to leave without him, relocating to MO until recently. He is still in our hearts and we want to know he is safe and loved or at least no longer alive. I can not describe how much we love him and miss him. He is and was a part of our family and worry every day for his health. We have moved back to the area and my family need relief from the search. Now he is a few years old (birthday is June 1st 2017.) He had white on his snout with a line to his forehead, his feet, chest, and the tip of his tail. He has brown on the upper portions of his legs as ears and black on his back and sides. He had a crook in his tail and his feet were slightly pointed outwards. He has a unique (for us) voice and senses of a pure blood. We understand he is a worth and know he would be a catch to take. We hope whomever has him is loving and has kept him entertained and cared for. If any one has any information on his location it would be greatly appreciated. We also hope no one has butchered him in any way such as cropping his tail or having his neutered. We have and do worry constantly. Please take this time at home to keep an eye out for our little Huck because our now born child would love to meet his friend from conception. I do have pictures to verify.
