About this Dog
My name is Daisy Lou, or just Daisy. I love being outdoors and especially enjoy playing in the water… the garden hose, sprinkler, my water bowl or the water fountain in my foster families’s yard. Lakes are a little much for me so not sure if I can swim but I can scare fish away from the bank. I also enjoy chasing a ball or any flying toy and bring it back most of the time. I love all people and other dogs but not sure about cats as I haven’t met any yet. I am always up for a car ride and walks even though I find my leash a little annoying but I’m getting used to it. I am super curious and like to explore everything and because of this I am a bit stubborn and don’t like to listen to my foster parents until I’m done checking things out but I always come back to them. I am good at following the lead of older dogs and I am eager to please. What I love the most… belly rubs… but I also like treats, being close to my family, play time in the yard, celebrations when I do something good, naps, giving kisses, being in the middle of everything and just being anywhere outside. I would really love to have a family who is active and loves being outside, who would take me on adventures, who would give me lots of hugs and belly rubs and tell me I am the best dog but will also be patient with me when I don’t listen right away… I am still learning and just want to see everything. If you love all these things too please consider adopting me so we can share all of these great things together. Daisy Lou was rescued from a reservation in South Dakota, so her exact breed mix is unknown—she’s likely a unique blend of several breeds. Her listed birthday is our best estimate based on her development. Because Daisy Lou has already been spayed, she is available for adoption both within Albany County and to approved adopters outside the area.

Adopt Daisy Lou and Receive Daisy Lou's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Daisy Lou's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Daisy Lou's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Daisy Lou, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Daisy Lou's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy Lou was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy Lou’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daisy Lou’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy Lou’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
