About this Cat
Spencer is a silly, affectionate boy who loves chasing his tail, curling up in sunbeams, and cuddling up close. He prefers to sleep on his own, especially in his favorite cat bed by the window, but he will never turn down a good belly rub! Spencer gets along great with other pets (dogs and cats alike). He would do well in a home with furry companions but is also independent enough to be your solo fur friend and soak up all your attention. He enjoys a little lap time but doesn’t like to be picked up for long stretches of time. He’s a bit wiggly when he’s picked up and would benefit from regular nails trims to avoid clothing snags and accidental scratches. Very small children should be supervised with him, but otherwise he enjoys all human companionship. When Spencer’s litter came to LAWS as tiny kittens, they all had bad eye crusties but were otherwise healthy kitties. Spencer has much improved since then, but he still sometimes experiences higher than normal eye discharge. He has no respiratory concerns; the mild condition doesn’t seem to bother him and is not likely to cause any long-term adverse health issues. We are currently trying a treatment to clear up his eyes. If you're looking for a sun-loving cuddle bug with some charming quirks, Spencer might just be your new best friend!

Adopt Spencer and Receive Spencer's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Spencer's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Spencer's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Spencer, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Spencer's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Spencer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Spencer’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Spencer’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Spencer’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
