*Indigo & Iris are sponsored!! FREE to a home together!* Indigo is a sweet young lady just over a year old. She was a transfer from another rescue along with her sister, Iris. They both unfortunately, did not come from a great background. Their previous owner was forced to surrender his dogs because of living conditions. The house was being condemned. These poor ladies have came along way since arriving! They were terrified of people, and any slight movement or sound that they were unfamiliar with. They have sense blossomed into two charming young ladies. (Still a little timid but, growing more confident everyday!) Indigo is solid black, where as her sister has white on her chest. Indigo needs some basic manners taught, but even with working with her on sit, man she was catching on quickly! They are pretty bonded, but don’t need to stay together. If they do, it is a 2 for 1 adoption price! No resource guarding between the two, and they both have more confidence with another dog. So a household with another dog is preferred! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Indigo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Indigo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Indigo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Indigo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Indigo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
