Cupcake cake is as a transfer from a boarding kennel that was posted as a stray, but went unclaimed. She had semi recently nursed puppies, and was emaciated, so the wonderful people at the Boarding Facility kept her for almost 4 weeks, working on putting weight on her. She is not spayed yet, but will be. Are you looking for an exotic pet? This beautiful, unique, striped land seal is the full package! You want a cuddle bug? She is it! You want Velcro dog? She is it! She comes up tail waggin’, sits automatically, and just wants all the hugs and kisses she can get! She has no reaction at all to other dogs, (other than a quick sniff and tail wags) but has not been formally tested. Her interactions with cats and young kids are unknown, but per usual, kids ages 12+ and who are respectful, are usually okay! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cupcake was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cupcake’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cupcake’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cupcake’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
