$100 volunteer sponsored. So only a $175 adoption fee for approved applicant of this sweet boy! Weasel is a super sweet 8 year old looking for an active family! He was recently taken in by a family member of his original owner, but the situation didn't work out as it was discovered Weasel is not a fan of small children or cats! He does well with other dogs, though! This smart boy has a lot of life ahead of him, and he deserves only the best! He is seasoned in his knowledge and manners, and he knows Sit, Shake, Down, (stays pretty well) and LOVES butt scratches! He also doesn’t jump up on you either. He also has great leash manners. He is smaller in size, only standing about 24" tall and only weighs about 45 pounds. He is a great dog, and would make a great addition to someone who give him his best life! He is an experienced best-friend, and would make a great couch potato, or someone to curl up nicely with when its time for a nap. He is very food motivated, so any additional training would be a breeze, but he knows everything he needs to know, so what more is there?! He enjoys his toys and has his favorites too, but usually the enrichment ones with other goodies in there to help distract his mind. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Weasel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Weasel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Weasel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Weasel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
