Misty is approximately 1 year old, and was hanging around a farm for a while, where she had a litter of kittens who all sadly passed away. She is a beautiful, young lady with the most stunning green eyes. She is playful, seems to not mind other cats, but dogs and kids are unknown. She is still newer to our facility so we're learning her personality and quirks! If you're looking for a younger female cat, this is her! Since she has shown some of her personality now, boy is she a playful, young lady! She likes to bat at you, and bite a little, but she is very gentle about the bites, and hardly ever sticks her claws in when she bats at you. She ultimately just wants to play, so she made need some manners taught to her on socializing, but overall, she is a very friendly, and entertaining lady to watch! She even has extra toes making her feet look HUGE! This young lady won't disappoint in terms of personality. All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Misty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Misty’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Misty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Misty’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
