About this Cat
Mallory is approximately 4 years old, and weighs 9 pounds. She’s a lovely kitty who enjoys her snuggles and exploring. She loves being held and nuzzling against you. She even models very nicely too! Her favorite spots are in a cat tree, and curling up in the sun. She is not a fan of other cats, so she would need to be the only feline in the home. We haven't seen any behavior around dogs that says she won't tolerate them (as long as they respect boundaries) She is a love-bug and a half, and will do anything for some fancy feast! She is also wicked smart! (See attached video) She is a cat who strives for your love, and will play around with proper toys, or cat nip, but truly enjoys a nap n a nice warm area, like your lap or bed, until she gets her second wind to play again! All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mallory was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mallory’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mallory’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mallory’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
