Siri is a 3 year old spayed female. She came in with 2 other stray cats, who have been very loving and tolerant. Siri is a shy gal, who loves her places to hide. She is fine with some snuggles, but she needs to warm up to you first. No young kids, but ones above 12 would suffice. She gets scared easily if loud noises so she would thrive in a quiet home. She seems to not mind other cats, but is usually off in solitude somewhere. She seems to not be the biggest fan of men, either. She wants a mama and feels more comfortable around women. She is not a cat that trust easily like many others, but look at her?! Who wants a normal cat? What is normal? Siri is not. She is unique and has her own individual personality just like each and every one of us. She is an introvert, so would like someone to hang out with at home, and not have much for visitors unless your okay with understanding that is just who she is, and she will probably be anti-social with most people. All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Siri was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Siri’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Siri’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Siri’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
