About this Dog
Archie is a handsome bully mix looking for a new place to call home! He was brought in as a stray, but was never reclaimed by his owner. He was adopted and brought back several months later, due to no fault of his own. They didn't think they could provide the special care for him that he deserves, (I.E with him not liking most dogs.) This stout boy is a sweetheart who is happiest being lazy! Though he does like a good walk and will chase a toy and toss it about. He seems to be reactive around most dogs so would appreciate a home without other canines around. (He did get along with a small female dog that would visit occasionally at his old house, but he is VERY particular about who he shares his space with.) Archie is a wonderful dog, and he has no reaction to cats other than curiosity and a tail wag! Who is a bodybuilder fan? Who loves the looks of "land seals"? Who loves a dog that snorts?! This boy is for you! Look at those ears! He is also a reigning tug champ and thoroughly enjoys a good game of tug! He is loving of all humans, and is the gentlest when it comes to taking any snacks or treats out of your hands. Bonus, he loves his fruit! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Archie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Archie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Archie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Archie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
