About this Dog
Jolene is a gentle & sweet soul waiting for her perfect home! She is a bit shy with new people, but throw a toy for her, or play some keep away, and that will win her over! She loves fetch, has gotten along great with the other dogs she has met, and has a bit more play in her, then what she shows in her kennel. She does have good manners, but when she’s excited, she may jump up on you. She is a sweetheart with a heart of gold and will have any person knowing how lucky they are to have her! She had no/minimal training when she came to us as a stray, but wow is she smart! She has learned some basic obedience with only a couple training sessions, and have passed with flying colors! Goes to show that with commitment, and patience, you can teach a new dog just about anything! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jolene was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jolene’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jolene’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jolene’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
