Hello! My name is Mabel, and my foster mom says that I have a heart of gold! I was surrendered to a local pound because my previous home said they, "didn't have time for me anymore". I am house and crate trained, and I walk well on my Gentle Leader head collar - unless I see something I want to chase, and then you better hold on tight - I am very strong! I know some basic obedience skills like sit, down and stay, and I like to chase balls and really enjoy snuggling on the couch. My foster mom says that I listen well and would make a great companion. Mabel is a wonderful girl, and she wants all the attention and doesn't appreciate when other dogs get in her face so she needs to be the only dog in the home. Mabel will never be a "dog park dog", but she will fill your life with lots of unconditional love! Being a senior gal, s he has some urinary incontinence which is controlled with a medication called Proin and it works great. Mabel also has a bad knee and no longer goes up anymore than 3 stairs.
