Dooley, male 7yr old Shih Tzu mix, weighs 18lbs Look at this heart throb!! Dooley came to us when his owner passed away and had no family back up plan. He is taking things in stride but definitely is missing a loving forever home. He is a gentle happy boy that is always up for some cuddling. We have not heard him bark at all and will immediately roll on his back for a belly rub. He would do best in a home that is quieter and has a routine. He is very good with other dogs and is cat friendly. His previous owner was a little generous with snacks, so he has some "chunk" to him. He also is used to a fenced in yard, so he doesn't understand the leash, but we are working on that, and a harness would be best. He got a spa day at the groomer and a complete dental done, so he is good to go! Don't miss out on an opportunity to meet this boy, he will melt your heart! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and **DOOLEY** was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, **DOOLEY**’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the **DOOLEY**’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, **DOOLEY**’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
