Moon Pie, male, 10mo old Labrador Retriever mix, weighs 50lbs This handsome boy is not only good looking but also has a very appealing personality! He is easy going, is a rock star in play group with the other dogs, and is up for some outdoor adventures. He loves going for walks, and is a true water dog if you frequent the lake. Moon Pie hasn't had many toys in his life, so he is starting to learn that toys mean fun times. He isn't one that will play fetch or "tug of war". He is content to lay on his dog bed during quiet time. He is housebroken and crate trained. Moon pie would do best in a home with older kids or a more quiet household. He has not spent much time with young children. We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and **MOON PIE** was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, **MOON PIE**’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the **MOON PIE**’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, **MOON PIE**’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
