Bio: Amelia's rescue adventure began when she and her brother Zillah escaped euthanasia at a small shelter. Amelia spent the first few days here hiding in the back of our kennel too scared to eat or drink. Then slowly laying with out paws hanging out, and accepting the goodies her foster mom dropped off throughout the day. She still avoids eye contact at times, and will need a very dedicated home to continue working with her long term. Playing outside with the other dogs in her foster home came naturally, and having a canine pal in her forever home to help her transition is a mutst! Rope toys, Jolly balls, squeakies, you bet. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Amelia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Amelia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Amelia’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
