About this Cat
What do you say about kittens? Writing bios for kittens can be tough, cute and sweet seems to be a reoccurring statement. They are all cute and sweet, so it can be challenging to select your new family member/members. All you really need to do is spend one minute in our kitten room to fall in love. Maple is so sweet, with just a little bit of sass for the fun of it. She is playful, loving, and has very unique coloring and pattern to her coat. We think she is just so special. Maple came in to us very sick and dehydrated. One of our wonderful kitten fosters took her home along with a couple other small or sick kittens for some extra TLC. This was exactly what she needed. She is healthy now and is scheduled to return to the shelter to join her siblings, and the other kitten chaos! We know she will fit right in as loves to play and snuggle with any/all of the others. Maple is patiently waiting her turn for s/n day coming up at the beginning of August, she will require a couple days (max) to recover but will soon be ready to join your family! Apply now to be pre-approved and guarantee her spot on the next s/n day. She cannot wait to go home:) *****IMPORTANT******We require your home to include a YOUNG (also a kitten or under the age of one), age-appropriate feline companion. Young kittens will not be approved for homes where they will not have a SIMILAR aged feline companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.

Adopt Maple and Receive Maple's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maple's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maple's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maple, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maple's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maple was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maple’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maple’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maple’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
