They are all cute and sweet, so it can be challenging to select your new family member/members. All you really need to do is spend one minute in our kitten room to fall in love. I am OBSESSED with this kitten. This little guy is just so sweet. Jasper was so shy to start but is starting to come out of his shell a little more every day. He was moved into one of the kitten rooms so is starting to learn what it actually means to be a kitten. The others accepted him fully, even though he came in all alone (and so scared). Jasper is quickly learning that people are good! He loves to be pet so he will completely lean into your hand for more. He has started rolling when you are petting him to allow you to love on him more. Once you walk away, he will peek out of his cubie to make sure you know he is still there. Jasper has exceptionally soft fur, that is a beautiful buff color! If you want a cute, calm, and LOVING kitten please consider Jasper. *****IMPORTANT******We require your home to include a YOUNG (also a kitten or under the age of one), age-appropriate feline companion. Young kittens will not be approved for homes where they will not have a SIMILAR aged feline companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jasper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jasper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jasper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jasper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
