About this Cat
Daisy Mae deserves a hero! She has been through things (details unknown) that most of us do not want to think about. Daisy came to us by way of a good Samaritan that found her on the side of the highway, suspecting she had been thrown from a vehicle. Not knowing if she was injured, or what to do, he brought her to us for help. Daisy spent her first weeks terrified of all of us and everything. She is now in our "quiet room" where our other new(er) and shy or recovering cats hang out. She is now starting to come out of her shell, she does like to be pet and loved, but still understandably struggles with trust. Daisy will allow love and attention for short periods of time, but then will move away to be alone. She is not mean or aggressive, she just really needs someone to show her people are good. If you are someone that wants to take the time to show this cat the world and people are good, she NEEDS YOU! Daisy is a petite orange tabby spayed female cat. She has started to slowly put on some weight. She has been fully vetted (as we didn't know her injuries at intake and was very underweight) and ready to start a new and much better life. Complete our online adoption application @ www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding this adorable cat to your home. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.

Adopt Daisy Mae and Receive Daisy Mae's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Daisy Mae's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Daisy Mae's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Daisy Mae, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Daisy Mae's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy Mae was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy Mae’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daisy Mae’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy Mae’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
