About this Cat
This guy keeps us on our toes! He is really a magician, he somehow opens doors, (even locked ones), he seems to be able to disappear into thin air and then just pop up in the next room completely undetected, but his best trick is he will steal your heart in minute! He is 100% personality, and probably one of the most affectionate kitties in the shelter. He LOVES people and he certainly loves to be loved! You can pet him, you can hold him, you can carry him, and to be honest, if you really wanted to, you could hold him above your head and play airplane. He is really just up for anything! Taz loves whatever game you want to play as long as you are paying attention to him. He does play with other cats, but would probably do best with another playful kitty who would be fine helping Taz develop and respect their boundaries. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Taz was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Taz’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Taz’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Taz’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
