Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on August 15th and arrive on August 16th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 7/7/2025 Dog Name: Benji Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Terrier Mix Approximate Age: 1.5 Years Approximate Weight: 22-25 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: This boy is a total gem- he is getting the hang of potty training, great in a truck, great around horses and cows. Doing fantastic in his foster! He is dog, kid and cat friendly! Very respectful and obedient in the home, loves to be with his people but learning his safe quiet space is the crate (he will nap in there on his own- with the door open even). He was found dumped in a cow field in Texas! Not sure how anyone could abandon this precious little guy! He’s an amazing dog who has the cutest little nubby tail that always wags! He is learning from all of his foster friends and even the working dogs on the farm. He also has amazing recall once he learns who his people are! Adoption Fee: $450

After we have verified the adoption, Benji - ADOPTION IN PROCESS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Benji - ADOPTION IN PROCESS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Benji - ADOPTION IN PROCESS’s balance will remain in our general fund.
