About this Cat
I purchased Juniper July 6, 2024, his birthday in May. He is a very social guy who follows you around everywhere you go. He playful and is good with children. He is declawed and is neutered. My veterinarian is Danika at the Cedarburg Veterinarian Clinic. Although Juniper is a delight in most every other way, he bites me when he becomes overstimulated everyday at some point without provocation by me. I have tried everything and sought out guidance from many sources. This has been such a heartbreaking decision making process because he is so precious and happy otherwise. He uses the litterbox and has never gone outside his box. I am wondering if my home isnt the right one for him. Perhaps he needs another cat to wrestle with or just a busier household overall. I am 62 and live alone. It has been SO good for me to have a little being here with me to share my days with. I definately want to find the right pet for me and am hopeful that I will. Regardless, I have decided sadly that I can no longer keep Juniper here with me.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Juniper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Juniper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Juniper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Juniper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
