Hi, my name is Clara. I came to the Olive Branch as a stray. A nice man kept me and tried to find my owner for several days until OBARR had room for me. Sadly, no one came for me, so here I am looking for a new forever home. I am a very active girl, who loves to run. I get the zoomies in the play yard and run like the wind. I would love a (high) fenced yard so I can run and run. I'm a little too active for small children, but older ones or teens would be good. I seem to get along with most dogs and would love to meet any dogs in your home, just to make sure we will be good friends. My fondest hope is to find an active family that will take me on adventures. I love to explore and experience new things. The only deal breaker for me would be cats. I heard one of the ladies here say that I am cat crazy! Chasing them is such fun... well fun for me, but probably not the cats. So, a home without cats for me! I have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, combo tested (all negative) and up to date with my preventives. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Clara was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Clara’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Clara’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Clara’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
