Meet Dexter. This happy boy was found in a rural area and dropped off at a county vet. No one ever came to claim him, after weeks of searching for his owners. Now he is available for adoption. This handsome American Foxhound is ready to play! He will run and play until his tongue falls out. He loves car rides, especially if they end with a good romp at the park. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. With his good looks and happy personality, he’s sure to make someone very happy. He is completely house trained! He can be nervous around certain men - we believe he was mistreated by a man before. Dexter needs a family who will allow him to open up and get comfortable but can enforce strong boundaries when needed. We require a meet and greet before adoption.
