About this Dog
Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and nearby areas. Please read ADOPTION INFO on the left side of our website to learn about the adoption application process. Honey Girl comes to us from southern WV, and was a breeder surrender. She's very cautious around new people and may take weeks to warm up to her humans. She is considered a bit of a flight risk, as she is not used to lots of human contact and may run if given the opportunity. She will require a secure, physical fence for her yard. She will not be adopted to any home that uses a doggy door or any form of electric, underground, or invisible fencing. This is not negotiable. She spent the first years of her life living with lots of dogs, mostly outside, and without much human interaction. Her potential adopter must be willing to be patient, understanding, and let her go at her own pace. She does great with other dogs, but we don't know how she is with cats. We also do not know how she would be with children. House training is a work in progress, so she'll need continual training by her potential adopter. She is uncomfortable on a leash, but that is also a work in progress. Email inquiries can be made to [email protected]

Adopt Honey Girl and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Honey Girl's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Honey Girl's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Honey Girl, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Honey Girl's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Honey Girl was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Honey Girl’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Honey Girl’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Honey Girl’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
