About this Dog

so this is my friends dog that him and his girlfriend had gotten together 3 1/2 years ago and she had went jail, my friend was holding onto the dog because his girlfriend had said her ex-girlfriend had said not to get rid of him so he didn’t although he has just went to jail three months ago. I told him that I would go ahead and how is the dog until she got out of jail because she had begged him not to get rid of him that she wanted him when she got out. although she’s out of jail now, she is staying in a transitional living facility and is not allowed to have pets. But not only that he is aggressive, and he has been food aggressive a little bit, but I had been able to break him from that, and he was also aggressive towards other animals sometimes but he was doing good with my dog, they had fought in here and there of course you know as dogs do you know when one is irritated with the other one or what not although out of nowhere two days ago, he continues to attack my dog for no reason literally six fights less than 24 hours. I have separated, them, brought them back together, and he attacks him again. I do not know what to do. He is not fixed. I have tried to find a place that I can get him fixed and hoping that that would calm him down but I do not have the money to pay $300 or plus to get him fixed. Also I am not allowed to have pets myself and the only reason why I have my dog is because he is a service animal and he has his license so if my Landlord wants to find out that I had this other dog, I would lose my house. Plus this was not supposed to be a long-term thing, I love him to death, he is the sweetest dog he is when he is by himself or has the proper training, but with me he is protective over me because I had raised him when they had gotten him and then he went back with his owner because I would only babysit him while his owners went to work, and then I hadn’t seen him for more than a year and I had my service dog. Whom is only doing his job and looking after me, and making sure that I am OK. Like I said they were doing good for a month and a half. I made sure to feed them at the same time but in different places I made sure to do everything equal with them. They were doing good besides the you know a few fights here and there, because one bit one too hard, or one got on the other ones nerves a little bit mainly being my friends dog that was getting irritated. I don’t want to see him get put down. I just want to see him find a nice loving place and I feel really bad because I feel that he’s been tossed around too much so he doesn’t know what love is he doesn’t know what Home is. And I really don’t know what to do but I’m trying to find a place that will take him because I can’t. The girlfriend said that she cannot take him because of the transitional housing but not only that but she’s scared of him as well because whenever she would go to feed him treats or what not, he would growl at her and then if he bites her son. She said she will lose it so she doesn’t want to take him and kind of leaving on me. And my friend Jail there’s too much that he can do and he’s telling me to just try to find somewhere maybe somebody else will take him that he knows but that means he’s gonna be locked up in a kennel all the time because that place has kids and he doesn’t get along with them and I just don’t wanna see him getting locked in a kennel, because no dog should be living like that. I’m in a tough rock hard place I’m in dire need of some help.

Adopt Bands and Receive Dogecoin

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bands's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

How will Bands receive the Dogecoin?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bands, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bands's Dogecoin here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bands was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bands’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Bands’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bands’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
