Animal Profile: Sprinkle is an estimated 6-month-old female approximately 30lb shepherd mix puppy who has spent the last five weeks along with her littermates in a crowded shelter; one was adopted but four remained languishing for weeks and so they're joining us in Seattle. They have been spared euthanasia for space due to their sweet and social nature and they are friendly with all dogs and people. We will share more information as we get to know them in foster care. Foster Update: Sprinkle is great with people and kids and dogs. She is crate & potty trained, as long as she is kept on a schedule. So far she is only curious about our two cats but has not interacted with them outside of the crate. She loves being outside and really enjoys playing with squeaky toys and balls. She has a sweet soft personality and just wants to be a part of everything going on. We are looking for a single family home with a securely fenced yard, breed experience and a family that is interested in continuing training. Sprinkle is going to be a big dog and due to size and breed we are not considering apartments for her at this time. Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, heartworm test for dogs over 6 months, and recent vet exam. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sprinkle was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sprinkle’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sprinkle’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sprinkle’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
