About this Dog
Animal Profile: Fozzie is an estimated 3 year old, 48 lb neutered male doodle who was picked up as a stray in a popular dumping ground for dogs outside of LA. He has been in foster care for his stray hold, with a half dozen other dogs and has been friendly with everyone. We will share more info as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: Fozzie has been such a joy to foster! He does well on leash, and is house and crate trained. He is very friendly and respectful toward other dogs. I haven’t really seen him around kids other than when we’re out and about and he’s non-reactive in those situations. Fozzie has moderate energy, loves to play and go on adventures, but isn’t too pushy about it. He whines when he wants something or is bored, but it doesn’t last long, and he only barks when he hears people by the door or my upstairs neighbor. Fozzie loves his person, thinks he is a lap dog, and throws himself on me when sitting down or on the couch. He already knows some basic commands, such as sit, shake, stay, and down; we are still working on jumping up. He is great in the car and enjoys sitting on the patio. Fozzie is such a sweet pup and will make a fabulous addition to the lucky family who adopts him! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, recent exam with a veterinarian, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Fozzie and Receive Fozzie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Fozzie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Fozzie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Fozzie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Fozzie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fozzie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fozzie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Fozzie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fozzie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
