About this Dog
Animal Profile: Gunner is an estimated 4-month-old male German Shepherd who was abandoned in a yard in San Bernardino, along with his brother Zeus, when his "family" moved. They were taken in by a good samaritan and transferred from our rescue partner ARF for fostering/adoption in the greater Seattle area. Foster Update: Gunnar has been doing well since we picked him up. When he first arrived, he was a little skinny, but has been slowly building up and filling in over the past week, including a noticeable improvement of his fur. He gets along great with our other three dogs (1 Mix 8 years, 1 Corgi 1.5 years, 1 Doberman 5 months) and our two cats. He’s curious but a little cautious, preferring to hang back and observe rather than jump into the action. We’ll often find him sitting at our feet, watching the other dogs play. To be clear, he’s not frightened of the other dogs and cats, he just likes to observe rather than participate. He’s not pushy at all and listens when they tell him “no”. He’s a very sweet dog and loves to snuggle with his people, preferring people company over dogs right now. We will be looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and Shepherd/large breed experience preferred. We are not considering apartments at this time. As we have gotten to know Gunner we have learned he does not tolerate kibble, but he is doing great on Honest Kitchen dehydrated food. His future home will need to meet his dietary needs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. This dog is fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.

Adopt Gunner and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gunner's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Gunner's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Gunner, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gunner's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gunner was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gunner’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Gunner’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gunner’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
