About this Dog
We will be reviewing adoption applications for Hap on April 22nd. Animal Profile: Hap is an approximately ~14lb, 3-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix that joined us from CA on 12/17. He was found as a stray and was very scared but he warmed up quickly. He's been kenneled with other dogs. Foster Update: Hap is settling in well and is such a sweetheart. He really just wants to be your best friend. True to his breed mix, Hap bonds hard with his people and wants to be by your side. He is being fostered with another dog in his foster home, and they got along great. Hap has a fairly mellow temperament inside the home. He really enjoys snuggling up, lounging in a cozy dog bed, and hanging out by your side. He is getting much better with his crate manners when home alone, and he will enjoy a kong during his down time in his crate. As a pup who builds a strong bond with his people, Hap really relies on clear leadership and confidence from his humans. He can be a bit insecure/nervous by nature, and having his humans take the lead really helps him feel more relaxed and confident outside of the home. Hap's foster mom has been working hard at teaching Hap a proper heel on leash, place command, in addition to basic obedience. He is absolutely thriving! Hap has even found himself to be an excellent jogging/running partner. Hap would love a forever home that can continue to provide the leadership for him to thrive. He will need to be in an adult-only home, and he would do best with someone who has some past dog experience, or is confident to be able to keep up his training and advocate for his needs. He is such a loving companion that is eager to learn and be your best friend. He is going to make someone extremely happy! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from the Fresno Humane. They arrive on 12/17 and will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Hap and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hap's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Hap's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Hap, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hap's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hap was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hap’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Hap’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hap’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
