About this Dog
Animal Profile: Taylor showed up on someone’s property way out in Wapato with 9 puppies. The finder' was not interested in feeding or keeping her or her puppies, and was threatening to let them starve. A rescue contact reached out for help as Mama and babies were left outside, exposed to the elements. We could not leave them to suffer, so they are all hitching a ride to the west side on Friday, 10/11. Foster Update: Taylor is smart, engaging and affectionate with her people. She has great manners in the home; she does not counter surf, respects boundaries in the kitchen, and is conscious of the space around the toddler in her foster home. Taylor can share space with other dogs, but doesn’t really enjoy their company. She would prefer to be an only dog. Taylor is house trained and does well in a solid sided kennel. She can be talkative when left alone, so we are not considering apartment homes for her at this time. Taylor is looking to join a family with a single family home, fenced yard, and large breed experience. She has very high prey drive and will not be placed in a home with cats or small animals. Adoption Info: Taylor's adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Taylor and her 9 puppies are being surrendered to Dog Gone Seattle from their owner in Eastern Wa. They arrive to foster care 10/11/24 and will be available for adoption once we confirm they are healthy and well. Taylor is smart, engaging and affectionate with her people. Adopt Taylor and Receive Taylor's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Taylor's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Taylor's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Taylor, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Taylor's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Taylor was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Taylor’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Taylor’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Taylor’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
