About this Dog
Animal Profile: Bud is a pint-sized cutie joining us from Modesto, CA on 2/13/2025. This little Chihuahau mix guy weighs in at only 13 pounds and has the most adorable lil under-bite. He is dog friendly and though shy at first, a total love with people. Foster Update: Bud has settled in quickly and gets along with both our big and small dogs. He’s an energetic, curious and playful little bruiser. He enjoys fetch, wrestling with his stuffies, and exploring the yard. He also likes walks, even when it’s cold and wet outside, and isn’t phased by other people or dogs. We even ran into a friendly cat on one walk, and he just wanted to say hi! We’re working on leash manners, as he zig-zags a lot wanting to sniff all the new smells, but he’ll get the hang of it in no time. He’s great in his crate, but is good free-roaming the house as well when someone is home. Oh and he’s a HUGE snuggle bug!! His favorite place is curled up beside his human. Bud would prefer to go to a home with at least one other friendly canine companion. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. He arrives in Seattle on 02/13/25 via START rescue transport and will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Bud and Receive Bud's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bud's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Bud's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bud, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bud's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bud was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bud’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bud’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bud’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
