About this Dog
Animal Profile: Maddi is an estimated 9-year-old, 9 lb Chihuahua mix. She was rescued from Stanislaus Animal Services, where she was at risk for euthanasia due to lack of space. Maddi is sweet with everyone she meets and has dog tested well with large and small dogs. She was kenneled with a puppy that was larger than her and there were no issues. We can't wait to to get acquainted with this little love in foster care! Foster Update: This adorable 9.5-year-old Chihuahua may be petite at just 10 pounds, but she’s packed with personality, charm, and adventure! Maddi is a seasoned traveler (Oregon Coast and Redwood Forest approved!) and officially road trip certified. She rides great in the car and loves being outdoors—walks are a favorite part of her day. She's also got her home routine down pat, making her an easy-going companion around the house. Her favorite hangouts? The top of the couch for window watching and the head of the bed for maximum coziness (but only if she says so—Maddi enjoys affection on her own terms). She loves pets and playtime but prefers her independence when it comes to cuddling. Maddi gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion at home. She's social with humans, too, bringing a sweet but spunky energy to everyone she meets. Whether she’s perched like a queen or exploring new sights, Maddi is equal parts lovable and low-key—a perfect companion for one lucky family. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Adopt Maddi and Receive Maddi's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maddi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maddi's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maddi, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maddi's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maddi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maddi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maddi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maddi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
