About this Dog
Animal Profile: Meet Stan - His mom Mona was a stray in a TX neighborhood and a good samaritan had been feeding her, She dug into her yard and had puppies under their shed. The family reached out to our rescue partner Animal Advocacy for help and she and her 5 babies were taken into a foster home. All are doing well, are happy and healthy waiting for their freedom ride to the PNW. Foster Update: At just 8 weeks old and a mere 2.5 pounds, Stan may be small in size, but he's already filling hearts with his big personality and sweet spirit. This Chihuahua/Miniature Dachshund mix (aka a Chiweenie!) is still discovering the world – and every day, a little more of his personality shines through. He’s currently working on potty training and already making some progress. Crate training is a work in progress too — he may whine when left alone, but he’s learning that his crate can be a cozy, safe space. Despite his tiny stature (watch your step!), Stan has a growing zest for life. Each day brings more tail wags, playful zoomies, and curiosity. He loves playing with other small dogs and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’ll thrive in a patient, loving home that understands he’s still just a baby learning the ropes. With gentle guidance, consistency, and lots of love, this pint-sized pup will blossom into a great companion. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Adopt Stan and Receive Stan's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Stan's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Stan's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Stan, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Stan's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Stan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Stan’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Stan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Stan’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
