About this Dog
Animal Profile: Mona was a stray in a TX neighborhood and a good samaritan had been feeding her. She dug into their yard and had puppies under their shed. The family reached out to our rescue partner Animal Advocacy for help and Mona and her 5 babies were taken into a foster home. All are doing well. They're happy and healthy and ready to find their forever homes in the PNW. Foster Update: Mona’s two goals in life are simple: to love and be loved. She’s a total sweetheart -- affectionate, cuddly and calm. Whether she’s greeting you at the door, snuggling on your lap, or quietly sitting beside you, Mona just wants to be near her person. She’s crate trained, happily eats and sleeps in her crate, but will also curl up in bed with you if that’s your preference. Mona appears to be house trained, though she takes her time sniffing around before doing her business. Patience is key. She’s great with cats and friendly with other dogs, though she might be a little hesitant to share her human at first. Once she settles in, she’s happy to share the love. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who will adore you endlessly, Mona is your girl. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Adopt Mona and Receive Mona's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mona's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mona's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mona, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mona's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mona was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mona’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mona’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mona’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
