About this Dog
Animal Profile: Meet Libby - Her mom Mona was a stray in a TX neighborhood and a good samaritan had been feeding her, She dug into her yard and had puppies under their shed. The family reached out to our rescue partner Animal Advocacy for help and she and her 5 babies were taken into a foster home. All are doing well, are happy and healthy waiting for their freedom ride to the PNW. Foster Update: Say hi to Libby, the ‘big sister’ of the bunch. At a whopping 3 lbs with a short coat and extra long body, we are pretty sure she’s got a different dad than her littermates, and honestly, she’s owning it. Libby is fearless, curious, and absolutely must be where the action is. Her little sausage body and short legs move at top speed to keep up, though she’ll need a boost when the stairs are taller than her self-esteem. She’s great with big and small dogs, adores the cat, and is incredibly gentle with the two kids in her foster home. Libby listens intently when you talk to her, tilting her head like she’s trying to figure out exactly what you’re saying. With her meerkat sits, silly pounces, and sweet nature, Libby is pure joy in a tiny package. She’s going to make someone a lifelong sidekick—and an excellent reason to smile every single day. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Adopt Libby and Receive Libby's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Libby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Libby's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Libby, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Libby's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Libby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Libby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Libby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Libby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
