About this Dog
Animal Profile: Princess and Bear found themselves in need of rescue when their owner passed away unexpectedly. A contact in California reached out to see if we could help, and after hearing their story we had to say yes. Princess can be a little shy at first, but is sweet and friendly. She weighs 18lbs and is 2-years-old. Foster Update: This spunky, energetic girl is full of life and love—and she's on the lookout for her perfect human to share it all with. Princess’s favorite things include chewing on bones, tossing around her stuffed animals, and doing full-speed zoomies around the house. She enjoys going for walks and thrives when she’s getting plenty of attention and affection. Her biggest wish? To be by your side as much as possible. While she’s sweet and affectionate, Princess does have a tendency to bark and would benefit from a patient adopter willing to do a little training to help her be her best self. She’s currently living with a cat and—while she doesn’t mean any harm—she does enjoy a good chase, so a home without cats (or one with a large, dog-savvy feline friend) would be best. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Princess was transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 04/27/25; she will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Princess and Receive Princess's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Princess's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Princess's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Princess, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Princess's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Princess was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Princess’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Princess’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Princess’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
