About this Dog
Animal Profile: Zini and her 2 siblings were found near death in a ditch, covered in fleas and full of parasites; one sibling did not survive. Luckily, our rescue partner Animal Advocacy took them in and nursed them back to health. They are doing well in their foster home and are happy and healthy. Foster Update: Zini was initially a scared, young puppy and tiny puppy, but has been building confidence quickly in her foster home. She is a cuddle bug with a big heart, but tiny enough to be held in one hand and is currently only about 10 lbs. It is unknown how big she will be at full grown height and weight, but it would likely be around 30 to 35 lbs. Zini is great with other dogs and pets, including cats. While she would be fine being the only dog in a home, she would make a great companion dog for another dog who is looking for a sidekick. Zini is submissive and will take her cues from another dog and her human, so she is easy to get along with in any household. Zini is still mouthing things occasionally, but quickly stops as soon as she is told "no." Zini has been good around children but because she is so young, she would do best in a household with children at least 8 years or older. She responds to correction and redirection with ease, and is a smart pup. Zini has learned to walk on leash politely, but does still freeze sometimes when she sees something new. She is working on crate training and potty training at her foster home, and has made lots of progress in both, but still working on the potty training and is not yet at 100% no accidents. Zini is learning basic commands, such as sit, and is also getting regular puppy socialization with meeting new people each day, and new friendly dogs. Zini is not food aggressive nor does she resource guard. She has one ear that sticks up, and one that flops backwards. She can be a goofball and loves to run around before snuggling up for cuddle time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Adopt Zini and Receive Zini's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zini's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Zini's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Zini, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Zini's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zini was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zini’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zini’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zini’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
