About this Dog
Please say hello to Beans! He is around 11 months old, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines. He’s a tall guy who is such a looker and he weighs in at 55 pounds. Beans is being fostered in Marysville, WA. Beans came to MLBR as an owner surrender when his family decided that their long work hours, which resulted in Beans being crated for long periods of time, just wasn’t in his best interest. Beans is very loving and wants a lot of positive reinforcement. He is such a love bug and enjoys engaging with anyone who will stop to say hello. He is very laid back and just adores seeing people. Beans does very well in a crate at night with his foster mom in the room, and he’s quiet the whole time. However, he doesn’t like to be left alone in his crate and will voice his discontent by barking. It’s clear that he has some separate issues; likely due to his past of being crated for very long periods of time without his people around. Beans is just about fully potty-trained and has never had an accident in his crate at night. He’s doing very well following the resident pack of pups outside when it’s potty break time. There are three other dogs in Beans’ foster home, one female and two males. Beans is definitely dog-friendly and has been amazing with all three of his foster fur-siblings; and was even fine with them when he first arrived and was still intact. We were told by his previous family that Beans is also cat friendly, however, there are no cats in his foster home so, we don’t have a way to test him. Beans picks up on signals from the other dogs pretty well, and therefore, leaves his 8-year-old foster Boxer-bro alone, as his preference is to just chill. But it’s game-on with the 1-year-old male pup who loves to play! It’s nonstop with the two of them and they love to run and play together until they drop. Because Beans is a puppy, he still hasn’t outgrown a lot of the traits that a young puppy has. He is learning some commands though and will come when he’s called. Overall, though, his manners are pretty good. Of course, as with any young dog, Beans would greatly benefit from some training with his new family. Beans has not shown any tendencies toward chewing on anything that isn’t a toy and he’s really good at sharing. Even though he has good manners, he still needs some work in a few areas, but he’s smart and will learn quickly. He is pretty good on leash, although he does pull sometimes, but is very responsive to being corrected. Beans loves a good car ride and is very well behaved in the vehicle. When Beans first arrived in his foster home, he needed some help to get his appetite going, but now he’s a really good eater. He and his foster siblings all eat at the same time, in the kitchen, each in a designated space, and he does great. He’s shown no food aggression at all. Beans will be a great addition to pretty much any family! He would be great with kids who would show him lots of love. He would love to go on hikes, camping trips, or just enjoy hanging out with his people. Beans really just wants to be with his humans, no matter what they are doing, and to be loved on. You won’t go wrong with this one as he is so sweet and will bond very quickly with his forever family. Adopt Beans and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Beans's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Beans's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Beans, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Beans's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beans was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beans’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Beans’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beans’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
